Various events between August to December 2024

 Shows and club runs.

Post the diff rebuild, I have been out enjoying driving the old girl in between Lily's soccer matches etc.

Here are a few events.

Winton on 3rd of August 2024. For the Winton historics with the Mustang car club.

Knox Ford car show with the Eastern Crusers with Nev.

The Emerald Fire (Green) XB GT is the actual XB GT that I owned for 4 years between 1986 and 1990. I then sold it to Neville Butler who has owned it ever since. it was off the road for about 30 years after a crash not long after I sold it to him. Not many people can take a picture of their current ride with the car that started it all for me.

Lily did her Yr 11 Deb Ball on the 31st of August 2024.

She wanted to go with her mates in a streatch limo but I had to get pictures before she went.

For the same Deb, my mate Russell Coulson asked if I could take his son Lachlan and his partner Lily to the deb in the mustang.

On the 5th of October 2024 Michelle and I did a Tour de Cure car rally to Eildon.

On the 9th of November I took the Mustang on another club run to Sandown for the Sandown historics.

We also went on a Mustang club Christmas run from Gisbourne to Creswick.

I dont have any pictures of the car on the run.

Nice and level now

 Post diff rebuild

As part of the diff rebuild process, I replaced the rear 5 leaf springs and installed new 6 leaf units.

This has leveled up the car and helped with the overall handling of the car.

Per this picture, it is sitting down a bit at the back.

Here is a picture of the car after the springs have been replaced.

Soo much nicer. It is probably only 25 to 30mm but it is much better.
